COFFEE COUNTY SCHOOLS CONTINUE TO MAINTAIN HIGH SCORES ON STATE REPORT CARD

Report cards for 2017-18 were recently released and Coffee County Schools received an overall system score of 88/grade of B, improving 4 points from a score of 84/grade of B in 2016-17. Coffee County Schools is one of 90 Alabama school districts maintaining their grade.

Kinston School, New Brockton High School, and Zion Chapel School improved scores by 2-3 points. Kinston School ranked number one in scores in the county along with one other school in Coffee County.

Kevin Killingsworth, Coffee County Superintendent of Education, is extremely pleased with the system’s overall improvement and credits the hard work of teachers, staff, and students.
