All members of the National English Honor’s Society should meet in Ms. Richardson’s class today at the beginning of third period. Members should wait until they are called on the intercom to report to Ms. Richardson’s room.

 

Scantron Testing will take place this week for grades 7-10. On test days, students will need to leave their belongings , including digital devices, in their lockers and report to the auditorium 1st period.

All 9th grade students need to report to the auditorium at this time for testing.

The schedule for the remainder of the week is as follows...

Thursday 12/07- 10th grade

Friday 12/08- 7th grade

Grade levels with 100% attendance on test days will receive afternoon break.

 

We will not be on skinny schedule today due to testing.

 

FCCLA Noel O Gram order forms are due today.

 

Any student who wants to send a Noel O Gram to another teacher or student at NBHS or NBES may come by Mrs. McLean’s Room through this Friday to order one. They will be delivered next week. Each costs $1 and will have a candy cane attached to a personalized message from you.

 

Any 11th or 12th grade student who would like to take EMS (Paramedic) or Medical Assisting classes in the spring, please see Mrs. Bourne to apply. The classes are free and they are held during 6th and 7th periods at ESCC. See Mrs. Bourne to register by Friday.



The National English Honor’s Society is hosting a book drive until Christmas break. We are asking that you donate any gently used books, especially those that are appropriate for four to five year olds. These books will be donated to the elementary school. You can drop off books in Ms. Richardson’s classroom.

 

The Band is having a canned food drive to help those who will need food this holiday season. Drop cans of food by the band room or you may also take them to Mrs. McLean in the AVC building. Make sure you sign your name under your house to receive points!

 

Congratulations to Coach Smith on being recognized as the NBHS November Teacher of the Month. Congratulations also to Mr. Ken Kirkland on being honore as the NBHS Employee of the Month.
