Seniors will take the ACT WorkKeys tomorrow. Attendance is mandatory. Seniors should report outside the auditorium in the hallway next to Mrs. Bourne’s office by 7:50.

 

Last week’s faculty meeting has been rescheduled to a Common Planning today during lunch.  Teachers need to report to the library at the assigned time for training.  

 

There will a meeting for seniors at the end of first period today in the lunchroom.

 

Any girl in grades 7-11 wanting to tryout for JV or Varsity Cheerleading next year please sign the sign up sheet outside Mrs. Grantham and Mrs. Bryant’s classrooms. There will be a Mandatory parent meeting Thursday February 1st at 6:00 PM.  

 

Jr. Beta members going to the convention need to meet in Mrs. Bourne’s office at the beginning of 6th period today.

 

Any 7th-9th grade student who would like to buy a ticket to the Jr. High Dance may purchase them in the main office. Tickets are $10 each.

 

Any senior who has not turned in their ESCC or LBW permission slip must do so by the end of the day.

 

The New Brockton Campus Beauty Pageants will be held on February 10th … at the New Brockton High School Auditorium.  Any girl in grades 7th through 12th may enter. This pageant will be for New Brockton students only.  Forms may be picked up from Ms. Oakes, Ms. Whitt, or Ms. Giddens this week and are due back by Jan 25th to Ms. Oakes. See Ms.Oakes if you have any further questions.

 

There is a $500 scholarship available from the Coffee County Soil & Water Conservation District. Must show financial need and leadership abilities. The deadline is March 1st; see Mrs. Bourne for an application.

 

A representative from LBW will be on campus Monday, January 29th to assist seniors with completing the Scholarship Application. She will be set up in Lab 122 at 9:00 am. Students planning to attend LBW next year should attend the scholarship workshop.

 

The Southeast Alabama Gas District Community Service Scholarship is now available. The deadline is March 15th. See Mrs. Bourne for an application.
